Vedran Husić was born in Bosnia and Herzegovina and raised in Germany and the United States. His collection of short stories, Basements and Other Museums, won the St. Lawrence Book Award and will be published by Black Lawrence Press in 2018. His fiction can be found in The Gettysburg Review, Ecotone, and Electric Literature's Recommended Reading, among other journals. He is the recipient of fellowships from The Virginia G. Piper Center for Creative Writing, the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, and the National Endowment for the Arts. He currently lives in Los Angeles with his partner, the writer Naira Kuzmich.
